Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking an MRI Technician for a variable-shift, PRN position in Amarillo, TX. The role focuses on acquiring high-quality MRI studies and providing IV access and contrast administration as part of patient imaging care.

Qualifications include an Associates Degree in Radiology, CMRT, ARRT (and related Nuclear/CNMT as applicable), and BLS within 14 days of hire. Prior experience is preferred but not required for every assignment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiology.
• CMRT certification.
• ARRT certification.
• ARRT/Nuclear (ARRT(N)) and/or CNMT (if both are declared, both must be current).
• ARMDS certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain high-quality MRI studies.
• Start IVs effectively and consistently.
• Administer IV contrast.
• Perform daily QC on MRI equipment.
• Adhere to Diagnostic Imaging policies and procedures.
