RAYUS Radiology in Roanoke, VA seeks a skilled MRI Technologist to operate designated MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images. You will provide patient-centered care, maintain safety, and adhere to professional standards in a temporary/PRN capacity.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image acquisition, parameter adjustment, RIS documentation, and equipment upkeep. Requires AMA radiography graduation, ARRT/ARMRIT registration, state licensure if applicable, CPR, and imaging

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsabilidades

• Screens patient prior to exam using two identifiers for safety and accuracy.
• Explains MRI procedures and positions patients for scanning.
• Performs MRI procedures with minimal supervision and supports patient during scan.
• Adjusts MRI parameters as needed and follows physician orders.
• Maintains safety, documents in RIS, and keeps area clean.
• Maintains equipment and follows AC/R toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Supports MRI department protocols and software upgrades.
• Monitors supplies and assists in training new team members.
