RAYUS Radiology is seeking a MR Technologist - PRN to operate MRI scanners and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment. You will screen patients, perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, ensure safety, maintain records in RIS, and support the MRI department with protocol updates and training.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Sufficient training to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsabilités

• Screens patient before exam for precautions or contradictions using two identifiers.
• Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures and positions them for scanning.
• Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjusts MRI scan parameters as needed.
• Follows physicians’ orders, adheres to safety regulations, maintains RIS records.
• Maintains orderly, clean workspace and sanitizes equipment.
• Maintains MRI equipment in good working order and cleans after use.
• Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Assists with updated imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
• Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary.
• Assists in training new team members.

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent

AMA approved school of radiography

ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist

Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state

CPR certification

Certification in imaging specialty

Sufficient training to perform MRI procedures independently
