Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide patient-centered imaging services. You will guide patients through procedures, ensure safety, and maintain accurate records in RIS.

This temporary/PRN role typically requires weekend work with occasional evenings and day shifts, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to high-quality diagnostic care. Qualifications include ARRT registration, state licensure if applicable, CPR, and the ability

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
• Explain procedures and position patients for imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters as needed and maintain accurate RIS records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure equipment cleanliness.
• Comply with ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Support department with protocol updates and training.
