Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to operate MRI scanners and deliver high-quality imaging services. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and collaboration with physicians within Radiology Information Systems.

This is a temporary/PRN position with varied shifts. Required are ARRT or ARMRIT registration, AMA-approved radiography education, state licensure (if applicable), CPR certification, and ability to perform MRI independently.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT registration in good standing.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Able to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• 90% Patient MRI Imaging: screen patients, prepare and position for MRI, perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, adjust scan parameters, follow orders and document in RIS, maintain clean and safe work area, uphold accreditation requirements.
• 5% MRI Department Support: maintain imaging protocol manuals, monitor supplies, train new associates as needed.
• 5% Completes other tasks as assigned.
