Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is recruiting a Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists in procedures for early breast cancer detection. You will operate across ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team.

The role requires MQSA-compliant graduation, ARRT(M) or ARMRIT, ARRT(R) with licensure within 1 year of orientation, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program per MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT(M) or ARMRIT certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• ARRT(R) certification is required; license to ARRT(M) within 1 year of orientation.

Work Shift :Job Description :Your Job:In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation.
