Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform quality breast imaging and assist Radiologists in specialized procedures. You will work within a multidisciplinary imaging team on ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine services, focusing on early detection of breast abnormalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program (MQSA compliant).
• BLS certification current.
• ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (M) or ARMRIT certification required or pursued within 1 year.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in radiologic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality Mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff to promote a safe, efficient imaging environment.
• Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality while delivering high-quality images.
• Support continuous improvement of patient experience and workflow within the imaging department.

Your Job:In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you‘ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification — ARRT (M)
• or ARMRIT
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation.
