Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging services, including mammography and related modalities, in a supportive environment.

Requirements include ARRT(R) or ARMRIT, MQSA guidance, BLS, and Texas licensure with 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program ( MQSA compliant ).
• Texas Department of State Health certification required.
• 1 year work experience preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more.
