Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography and assist Radiologists in breast procedures. The role supports breast imaging within a multidisciplinary imaging team.

Located on a 40+ acre campus off Dallas Parkway, the center will serve Celina and surrounding communities as the first full-service hospital with cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and MQSA compliant.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• ARRT(R) or ARMRIT certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Minimum 1 year work experience.
• ARRT(R) with R credential; must obtain M within 1 year of orientation.

Your Job:

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation.

The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
