Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in the United States is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging with independence and clinical judgment. You will prepare patients, position, operate MRI equipment, and ensure accurate, clinically acceptable results while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

The role requires ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, BLS, a radiologic technology degree, and at least one year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certified MRI Technologist (ARMRIT or ARRT-MR) and BLS required.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stress effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities and understanding of anatomy, pathology, and MRI safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains complete clinical history, reviews images, and assesses patient conditions.
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures, including contrast administration, following safety protocols.
  • Ensures proper patient identification, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures.
  • Operates and maintains imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly.
  • Explains procedures to patients, addresses questions, and documents accurately.
  • Participates in quality control, ensures equipment calibration, and adheres to regulatory standards.
  • Supports department operations, including patient transport, supply management, and documentation.
  • Collaborates with team members and assists in training staff as needed.
