Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year successful completion of an accredited MRI program.
• Licenses/certifications: ARMRIT, ARRT-MR, and BLS.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
• Knowledge of MRI techniques, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols.

Position Overview

The role involves performing a variety of MRI procedures to provide safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging. The technologist is responsible for patient preparation, positioning, equipment setup, and ensuring image quality. They must follow established protocols, verify patient identity, and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

• Key Responsibilities: Obtain clinical histories, administer contrast media safely, review images, respond to emergencies, and assist with all modalities as needed. Maintain equipment, ensure infection control, and support quality assurance measures.
• Patient Care & Communication: Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure privacy and dignity. Collaborate with team members and participate in training and documentation.
• Operational Duties: Restock supplies, transport and position patients, perform clerical tasks, and operate MRI work stations. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and support department safety and cleanliness.
