Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures and ensure quality patient care in a busy diagnostic environment.

The role requires ARRT certification, MRI registration eligibility within six months, and BLS. You will support daily MRI operations, collaborate with the team, and provide compassionate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Current ARRT registration; MRI registration within six months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• One year of MRI/radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate overall MRI department operations.
• Assist MRI Supervisor with daily operations, budgets, equipment and staff.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide compassionate care for all ages.
• Apply age-appropriate assessment and care across the lifespan.
• Deliver dignified, patient-centered care.

Education

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. They ensure the delivery of quality patient care and manage day-to-day activities in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Facilitate the overall operations of the MRI department.




• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including:




• Balancing budgetary constraints, equipment, and personnel needs.




• Implementing quality improvement initiatives.




• Ensuring exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.




• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan.




• Possess the ability to assess and address data reflective of the patient's age-specific needs.




• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.




• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) .




• MRI registered or eligible for MRI registration within six months of hire.




• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.




• Experience: One year of experience preferred.
