Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures and deliver quality patient care in a diagnostic environment.

You will support the MRI department’s operations, assist the supervisor with budgeting, equipment, and staffing, and contribute to quality improvement while caring for patients across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the overall operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including balancing budgetary constraints, equipment, and personnel needs.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan.
• Assess and address data reflecting the patient’s age-specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while upholding patient rights and dignity.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. They ensure the delivery of quality patient care and manage day-to-day activities in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Facilitate the overall operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including:
  • Balancing budgetary constraints, equipment, and personnel needs.
  • Implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
• Possess the ability to assess and address data reflective of the patient's age-specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Registration/Certification:
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • MRI registered or eligible for MRI registration within six months of hire.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience: One year of experience preferred.
