Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join our imaging team. You will operate MRI scanners in inpatient and outpatient settings, perform a variety of imaging procedures, prepare patients, obtain consent, and explain the procedure.

Qualifications include ARRT-R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credentials, and vocational school graduate status, with Basic Cardiac Life Support to be obtained within 30 days of start.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist runs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners in inpatient and/or outpatient settings performing a variety imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions. You will operate equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
