Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners in inpatient or outpatient settings, ensuring quality images for diagnosis. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain procedures to patients, supporting clinical teams in a fast-paced acute-care environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-MR within 6 months of employment start date.
• RT/Radiologic Technologist credential required.
• Vocational school graduate or associate degree represented.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Technologist runs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners in inpatient and/or outpatient settings performing a variety imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions. You will operate equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
