The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Minneola

Minneola is a picturesque community nestled in South Lake County, just a short drive to Orlando, with stunning landscapes and a friendly atmosphere. The hospital will include emergency, imaging, surgical, and critical care services, serving the growing South Lake County population.

The Role You’ll Contribute

Under general supervision, perform neuro and body scans on patients of all ages, transmit images for diagnosis, and update hospital systems. Participate in excellent customer service and maintain respectful relationships while implementing facility principles.

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team

• Perform exams using established protocols, ensure proper patient identification, educate patients, and screen for contrast allergies.
• Complete exams efficiently, maintain workflow, and coordinate patient discharge.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, adapt protocols for all ages, and perform QA on MRI scanners.
• Screen patients of childbearing age, minimize radiation exposure, follow infection control standards, and handle pharmaceutical waste following training.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiology, Sonography, or completion of an ARMRIT Accredited MRI Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS certification in relevant imaging fields.
