Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Novant Health, is seeking an MRI Technologist for outpatient imaging in Charlotte, NC. You will work with experienced technologists, radiologists, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality imaging in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR).
• Applicable state license where required.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

What You'll Do

The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
