Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a Novant Health subsidiary, seeks an MRI Technologist for outpatient imaging in Charlotte, NC. You will prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and assist physicians to obtain diagnostic scans in a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiography program graduate required.
• ARRT MR certification (RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)) required.
• State license as required by the state where practicing (NC).

What You'll Do

The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
