Position Details

• Facility: OrthoCarolina – Ballantyne
• Location: 15825 Ballantyne Medical Place, Charlotte, NC 28277
• Position Type: PRN
• Work Schedule Details: Coverage needed on Sundays from 7AM-7PM.

Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for the integration of scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. This includes completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care to provide the most remarkable patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
• Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable
• CPR Certification is required

Prior Experience

• 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required
• 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred

Special Qualifications

• IV skills required
• Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
• Skill in operation of MRI equipment
• Customer service background and focus
