Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN in Camden, NJ to interview and screen patients before MRI procedures, perform scans according to Radiologists' protocols, and manage image transfers and documentation in EPIC/EMR and PACS.

The candidate must have 1+ year MRI experience (cardiac and pediatric experience preferred), graduate of an AMA approved RT program or MRI school, current ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT license, and BLS certification. Hourly pay ranges from $34 to $56.

Short Description

An MRI Technologist interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety Concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in EPIC / EMR and PACS system

Experience Required

• 1+ years MRI experience;
• Cardiac and Pediatric experience preferred, but not necessary

Education Requirements

• Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program or MRI school

License/Certification Requirements

• Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), or ARMRIT, or CAMRT.
• Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support

Pay Range

• Hourly Rate Min $34
• Hourly Rate Max $56
