Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI scans and radiographs to assist in diagnosis or treatment, following standards set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. You will ensure patient care, prepare patients, document procedures, administer contrast, produce quality scans, label images, and communicate with radiologists.

Job Requirements
Experience
  • One to two years’ experience as an MRI Technologist (preferred).
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology or MRI program, or equivalent military training.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ARRT (MR) certification within 6 months of hire or ARMRIT certification.
  • Preferred: Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with TMB.
