Job summary

Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and research while maintaining strict patient safety and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include obtaining correct orders, preparing patients, applying ALARA principles, optimizing imaging protocols, evaluating image quality, and ensuring secure data storage and transfer, while educating students and healthcare providers and assisting with MRI procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR certification.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology training program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure proper data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with MRI procedures and interventional tasks.
• Select suitable pulse sequences, apply safety principles, and participate in quality improvement activities.
