Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform and assist with magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality data in a clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT certification, radiologic technology experience, and strong knowledge of MRI safety and protocols. You will educate staff and participate in interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Certifications such as ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT are required upon hire; new graduates must obtain appropriate registry before employment.
• Experience in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and patient care best practices.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors, and ensure MRI safety standards are followed.
