Job summary

MRI Associates seeks an MRI Technologist to operate the MRI scanner, position patients and work with radiologists to obtain diagnostic images. You will maintain equipment and ensure patient safety while delivering excellent care and accurate imaging documentation.

Required ARRT certification and Florida MRI license with at least 2 years of clinical imaging experience; on-site, full-time role with opportunities for growth within a patient-focused imaging team.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma, or associate's degree in MRI technology.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Technologist in imaging.
• ARRT Certification and Florida MRI license.
• Knowledge of RIS, EMR, PACS and imaging software.
• Understanding of anatomy and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images.
• Explain the MRI process to patients and address concerns.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform weekly calibration.
• Ensure patient safety by pre-screening contraindications.
• Administer contrast injections as needed.
• Upload images to PACS and ensure timely archiving.
• Provide training to new technologists and staff.
