Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or related allied health program.
• Current ARRT certification/registration; MRI credential preferred or required per policy.
• Minimum of three years MRI experience.
• BLS certification if site policy requires.
• Knowledge of federal, state, accreditation, and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information, orders, consents, and MRI safety screening.
• Prepare, position, monitor, and educate patients throughout examinations.
• Operate MRI equipment and follow protocols to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Review and transmit images, maintain records, and perform quality-control checks.
• Follow safety, privacy, infection control, and professional standards; perform other duties as assigned.
