Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with MRI specialty.
• Graduate from a radiologic technology program; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety principles, imaging protocols, and data management.

Responsabilités

• Obtain orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Use appropriate protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols, select pulse sequences, and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex tasks.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and uphold departmental priorities.
