Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform and support MRI procedures, ensuring accurate data acquisition and patient safety.

You will prepare, administer and document medications, follow ALARA principles, curate images, and assist practitioners. The role involves education of students and staff, quality improvement, and adherence to regulatory standards.

This on-site position offers growth in radiology services within a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT (R or MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB required.
• Education includes graduation from a radiologic technology specialty training program; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for accuracy and quality, verify data storage and transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Apply magnetic resonance safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist licensed practitioners with MRI interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Contribute to quality and process improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
