Job summary

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiology Technology program (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year radiologic experience; MR experience preferred.
• ARRT MR certification and BLS/ACLS certifications are noted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains MRI equipment by daily QA procedures.
• Sets up equipment and adjusts protocols per Radiologist to optimize results.
• Accepts patients, explains procedures and ensures safety screening.
• Administers contrast agents and performs IV access as needed.
• Reviews patient charts with Radiologist to ensure appropriate exams.
• Quality controls all images and adheres to safety regulations.
