Job summary

Mass General Brigham's North Shore Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to safely perform MRI studies, prepare patients, position, set imaging parameters, acquire images and perform quality processing.

ARRT MR or ARMRIT eligible; 1–2 years experience required. You will rotate across MRI scanners, assist radiologists and nurses, lift and transfer patients, and participate in after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate/Diploma in Medical Imaging or Associate’s Degree in Medical Imaging.
• MRI experience of 1–2 years is required.
• Licenses: ARRT MR or ARMRIT preferred.
• Must be able to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Demonstrates care for diverse age populations.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform MRI studies and acquire images.
• Prepare patients, position, and set imaging parameters.
• Review images and perform quality assurance as required.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff.
• Rotate across MRI scanners and cover occasional overnight/holiday shifts.
