Mercy is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and software, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. You will communicate with patients, comfort them during procedures, and collaborate with a healthcare team to deliver top care.

Ideal candidates have ARRT registry or eligibility, accredited imaging education, and BLS certification, with willingness to obtain licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program and completion of required clinical hours.
• ARRT registry or registry-eligible with plan to achieve within 6 months.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; state licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and imaging software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Communicate with patients, explain procedures, and provide emotional support.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
