Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies according to radiologist protocols. The role requires operating the MRI system, preparing the room and equipment, and positioning patients with care to ensure image quality.

The ideal candidate has an MRI certificate or AMA Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology technologist experience. BLS and registration as MR technologist are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required.
• 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist required.
• 1 year experience as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Reg Technologist (R) (MR) required; Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI studies following protocol established by Radiologists.
• Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment; positions patient, coils, and equipment.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
