Temple Health is recruiting an MRI technologist to perform MRI studies according to radiologist protocols. You will operate the MRI scanner to obtain high-quality images, prepare the scan room and equipment, and position patients and coils as required.

Strong communication with patients during the procedure is essential. ARRT MR certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire; an AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification within 2 years of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate required/preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs MRI studies following established protocols.
• Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent, high quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment for scans.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
