Job summary

Pscfl is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations and manage patient flow on the MRI Scanner. You will coordinate exams with other departments and physicians, ensuring accurate chart checks and proper documentation of the procedure.

The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to identification policies, and keeping equipment clean and up to date, with ongoing professional education and collaboration with nursing support when needed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or completed a training program in MRI (or) 3 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR BLS certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner to produce high quality diagnostic images.
• Coordinate MRI exams with departments and doctors’ offices.
• Document information in patient log book and scan sheet.
• Ensure patient safety and equipment protection during exams.
• Follow patient-identification policy before examinations.
• Notify supervisor of equipment repairs and keep MRI area clean and orderly.
• Maintain current knowledge on MRI issues and safety.
