Job summary

You will complete screening, documentation, and image verification in RIS/PACS to support physician interpretations.

Responsibilities include maintaining image quality, adhering to MRI safety standards, and assisting with staff training and quality initiatives in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited imaging program is required.
• ARRT MRI registration must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: 1-2 years.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Rotate to other locations as needed for training/staffing.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI examinations per established protocols while ensuring image quality and patient safety.
• Completes patient screening, exam documentation, and image verification in RIS and PACS.
• Maintains image quality, productivity, and efficient patient workflow.
• Adheres to departmental standards and modality protocols.
• Provides safe, compassionate patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.
• Supports onboarding and training of staff and students.
• Participates in quality meetings and staff discussions.
