Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
• Current ARRT MRI certification or eligibility.
• Valid state licensure to practice in the United States.
• Knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans.
• Operate MRI scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images per protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures for safety and comfort.
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to review images.
• Document patient information and imaging procedures in medical records.
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety and patient confidentiality policies.
