Job summary

McAlester Regional Health Center seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, produce high-quality images, and ensure patient safety. You will work closely with radiologists to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning in a hospital setting.

Minimum qualifications include completion of an accredited MRI technologist program, valid state licensure in the US, and ARRT MRI certification or eligibility. Prior imaging experience is preferred.

• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to review images for quality and provide necessary technical information.
• Document patient information, imaging procedures, and observations accurately in medical records.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality policies.

About the Role:

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnostic imaging process by operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures. Your expertise will ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to accurately capture images that assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
