Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images under radiologist direction. You will input orders, update patient records in the EMR, and educate patients on procedures and radiation safety.

You will follow ARRT standards, maintain safety practices, participate in quality assurance, and may float to other departments or be on-call as required. AAssociate degree and Montana licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in radiologic technology or related field.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility.
• Certification in CPR/BLS and other modality within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to access and update patient records in Hospital EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Accurately input physician orders into patient records and perform QA checks.
• Educate and reassure patients about procedures and radiation safety.
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Float to other departments as needed and participate in on-call shifts.
