Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images under Radiologist supervision. You will review orders, access and update patient records in the EMR, and ensure patient safety through adherence to radiation protection standards.

The role requires ARRT certification, a two-year degree or diploma, and the ability to work full-time with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure within required timeframes.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific/technical journals.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Educate and inform patients about imaging procedures and safety.
• Input physician orders into the hospital EMR system accurately.
• Follow radiation and magnetic field protection procedures to minimize exposure.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and documentation.
