Qualifications
- ARRT certification and MRI specialization preferred.
- Experience in radiologic technology with MRI procedures under physician guidance.
- Current state licensure and BLS certification, or eligibility to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain imaging processes.
- Position patients correctly and operate MRI equipment following safety standards.
- Review physician orders and screen patients for contraindications.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to optimize imaging outcomes.
- Document procedures in the EMR and maintain equipment and supplies.
