Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment. The role requires MR certification, patient education, and strict adherence to safety protocols. You will work a Friday-Sunday 6 am–6:30 pm shift and contribute to overall patient care.

Responsibilities include exam prep, contrast administration, positioning, QC, and accurate EMR/PACS documentation. A strong focus on comfort, safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRRT MR certification and BLS required.
• Proficient in MRI procedures, safety protocols and patient screening.
• Experience with EMR/PACS and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on MRI processes, safety and contrast use.
• Position patients and select coils to optimize imaging quality.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during contrast administration.
• Maintain documentation in EMR and PACS; ensure infection control and safety.
