Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking an MRI Technologist to ensure safe, high-quality imaging and patient comfort. You will educate patients, position them for imaging, and monitor for adverse reactions while maintaining documentation and compliance with department policies.

The role requires knowledge of MRI safety, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to evolving imaging technologies. On-site full-time position with health and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new MRI technologies and protocols.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for MRI procedures.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions.
• Position patients accurately using immobilization and coil placement techniques for high-quality imaging.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast following safety guidelines and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine QC checks and maintain EMR/PACS documentation.
• Follow department protocols for patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures.
