Job summary

An MRI Technologist is needed in Colorado to operate an MRI scanner, interact with patients, perform interviews, explain the scanning process, and position patients to obtain high-quality images. This role supports doctors with diagnostic imaging and requires attention to safety and patient experience.

The position is part-time, onsite at the Broomfield and Boulder offices, with travel as required. Requires a high school diploma, an accredited Radiology program, ARRT MR registration, CPR, and at

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT MR registration is required.
• Minimum one year MRI experience preferred; CT cross-training possible.
• Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures per established protocols.
• Maintain quality control procedures in imaging.
• Understand regulatory requirements related to MRI exams and equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and public.
• Maintain safe work area and inventory of supplies.
• Follow employer safety plans and exposure controls.
• Attend required meetings and participate in committees as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with imaging and other departments as a team.
• Document processes as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
