Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related MRI procedures while upholding safety and quality standards. You will verify patient information, document histories, and collaborate with the radiology team to ensure accurate results.

The role requires MR safety expertise, ARRT/ARMRIT/ARDMS/NMTCB certifications as applicable, and BLS. You will participate in quality control tasks and support staff training in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification required or ARMRIT/ARDMS/NMTCB as applicable.
• Proficiency in MR safety and contrast administration with and without power injectors.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification and Florida licensure if preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.
• Adheres to MRI safety principles and quality control standards.
• Executes venipuncture and contrast administration as prescribed.
• Ensures accurate patient history, documentation, and proper patient identification.
• Maintains equipment, safety protocols, and participates in staff training.
• Provides patient transport and improves workflow across radiology services.
