Job summary

Corewell Health in St Joseph, Michigan is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures and related imaging duties. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and prepare images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities include patient care, image evaluation, and accurate documentation in the EHR, with adherence to ALARA principles and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• MRI-related ARRT or ARMRIT certifications required on hire.
• Radiography ARRT certification, or ARDMS credential also listed.
• BLS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiological and fluoroscopic procedures with ALARA principles.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; ensure quality assurance.
• Evaluate images for technical quality; push to PACS with proper patient IDs.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure using shields and safety practices.
• Perform EHR clerical tasks for patient chart documentation.
