Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging using advanced equipment and administer contrast as needed. Duties include preparing the exam room, positioning patients, and ensuring data accuracy for radiologists.

Required credentials include ARRT MR and ARRT Radiologic Technologist within two years, with an Associate's degree in a healthcare field and BLS certification. Two years MRI experience preferred; MiRIS MRI program acceptable.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Healthcare Related Field or equivalent.
• AMA approved radiologic technology program or MiRIS MRI Program.
• Two years MRI experience preferred; MRI registry preferred.
• ARRT - Radiologic Technologist and ARRT MR credentials required within two years.
• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scan room and patient for examination.
• Draw up IV contrast and administer as indicated; review patient data.
• Position patient and acquire MRI images with correct protocols and safety.
• Maintain patient flow and prepare records for radiologist.
