Job summary

Virtua Health in South Jersey is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures to established standards and ensure patient safety. You will operate MRI equipment, acquire high-quality images, and follow radiologist protocols to optimize images.

Responsibilities include pre-exam checks, patient identification, venipuncture for contrast, and delivering excellent patient care. CPR certification is required; MRI board certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous MRI experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• MRI board certification preferred.
• AR RT or equivalent certification variations listed above.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and accurately, following radiologists' protocols.
• Verify order and patient identification; pre-scan screening and venipuncture for contrast when needed.
• Provide excellent patient service and maintain safety and policy compliance.
