Job summary

Virtua Health seeks an MRI technologist to perform MRI procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards. You will ensure high-quality imaging, proper room setup, venipuncture for contrast administration, and accurate patient screening.

The role emphasizes exceptional patient service, strict safety adherence, and collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff. Prior MRI experience, ARRT/ARRT or equivalent credentials, and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Previous MRI experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARMRIT or CAMRT as a Registered MR Technologist - for employees in the role prior to 8/30/26.
• CPR certification required.
• MRI board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently performs high quality MRI studies according to protocols established by the Radiologists.
• Follows protocol for room set-up and venipuncture procedures; administers contrast medium as needed.
• Verify order and patient identification; screen for medical appropriateness and safety before exams.
• Provide superior customer service and maintain professional communication with patients and staff.
