Job summary

Osceola Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist (Casual) to perform MRI exams, monitor patients, and assist radiologists with protocols in a fast-paced imaging department.

Under the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, you will apply safety practices, maintain MRI protocols, orient new staff, and deliver high quality patient care following ALARA and HIPAA standards.

This casual position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to support the DI team as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety.
• Strong understanding of anatomy for accurate imaging.
• Good communication with patients and radiology team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI exams following protocols and safety standards.
• Screens patients, prepares and administers contrast as directed.
• Maintains and updates MRI protocol manuals and workflows.
• Mentors and orients new staff and students in DI.
