Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-resolution diagnostic images with precision, safety, and compassionate patient care in an outpatient setting. You will operate MRI scanners, ensure accurate imaging, and support a fast-paced, collaborative team across multiple MRI protocols including brain, spine, MSK, abdomen, and cardiac.

Your role emphasizes MRI physics, protocol selection, and patient management with a strong focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• Valid state licensure where required.
• Hands-on CPR/BLS certification and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature.
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems.
• Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images with attention to quality and safety.
• Enforce MRI safety zones and monitor patients during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and PACS entries.
• Manage own workflow, perform routine quality control, and adapt to protocol changes.
• Mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
