Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in the United States seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and deliver high-resolution diagnostic images with strict safety and patient-care standards.

You will manage workflow, perform routine quality checks, and maintain equipment while providing clear explanations to patients and collaborating with physicians. Opportunities for mentorship and growth are available within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Hands‑on CPR/BLS certified and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high‑volume MRI environment preferred.
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature.
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems.
• Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline.
• Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Ensure MRI safety is prioritized for every patient and scan.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and PACS records.
• Manage own workflow, perform routine quality checks, and maintain equipment.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and clear explanations to patients.
• Mentor and support junior staff and students as needed.
